Who is Ryan?
Well, I’m a personal trainer, coach, nutrition expert, mindset coach, business owner, husband and an all round great guy! LOL!
But why should you listen to me?
Well with over 10 years experience in the fitness industry I’d now like to think I’ve made all the big mistakes, which means you don’t have to because I basically have all the answers to your struggles.
From getting myself super lean for a physique show, I have then used that experience/knowledge to help my clients get super. But then at the same time, I made them very aware of the dark side to getting lean (mental health issues).
Then there was the time I trained and competed at powerlifting with one competition being the British Nationals (which was pretty cool).
My PB’s to date are 170kg squat, 207.5kg deadlift and a 135kg bench, where I competed in the 75kg and the 82.5kg class’s.
So ……. I also know how to get people as strong as f***!
“But what are you into now Ryan?” I here you say.
Well I thought you’d never ask, but right now my passion lies with Jiu Jitsu and if I’m honest, since quitting football a good 10 years ago I’ve been missing something. That team vibe/spirit, but I’ve got it back now and I’m loving it!
Lastly, from battling with depression/anxiety since the age of 13 (I’m now 33), having had numerous counselling sessions, investing well over £2000 in self development programmes, having had suicidal thoughts, putting my wife through hell and now understanding that I’ll more than likely need to stay on medication for the rest of life to help with my happiness (aaaaaand breath) …… I now know how to help people overcome their mental health struggles, and if I’m honest, this kind of stuff really fires me up! Because I know the pain, the darkness, the pit, the overwhelm, and the lack of self worth!
